How much do we think about the fact that we’ve been given a new life in Christ?

How much do we depend on the power of this new life to change us and the way we live here and now?

So many of these truths I have known ever since I can remember. And even when we believe the Word because it’s His Word, we need to take it in and examine how it’s showing up every day.

I John 5:11-12 This is the testimony that God has given us eternal life, and this life in in His Son. He who has the Son has life; . . .

John 10:10 I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Rom. 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Our salvation is worked out in daily life.

We have been transferred from Satan’s kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of God and light. We have a different life. Christ lives in us.

How can His power in you make a difference today, in your love, in your choices, in your actions, in your words, in your hopes? What difference do His promises make in your life right here, right now?

ASK and know that He will answer exceedingly, abundantly above all that you can ask, think, or imagine (Eph. 3:20). More not less. Not a little more but exceedingly abundantly more.

Rejoice in hope – in the certainty of His promise of His life in us.
