Reading The Passion Code by O.S. Hawkins (Day 31)

He quoted these verses:

We beheld His glory. John 1:14     Christ in you the hope of glory. Col. 1:27

Then this thought provoking question: Have you personally beheld His glory in you?

Checked out his references and one thing led to another.

Col. 1:29 . . . I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.

I see His glory in me when I am striving, with His power, to teach, to warn, to make Him known. (vs 28)

2 Cor. 3:14, 16, 18

Their minds were blinded . . . because the veil is taken away in Christ.

Nevertheless, when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror, the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

This is the pattern of all spiritual growth.

I see His glory working in me as I turn to Him and the veil is taken away and I see the truth.

I see His glory in me when I am being transformed.

John 8:31-32 . . . If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Jer. 29:13-14 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

I will be found by you . . .

I see His glory in me as I am being set free. When I seek Him wholeheartedly, and when He allows Himself to be found by me!

I see His Glory working in me as I see Him as He is. (I John 3:2)

As He is made real to me (John 14:21)

I see His glory working in me when:

 I am aware that though alone, I am never alone. (Heb. 13:5)

I have a strength that is not my own and I can glory in that weakness. (2 Cor. 12:9-10)

I experience the refreshment that comes with repentance. (Acts 3:19)

There is fresh revelation of Him, His will, His ways.

Truths I’ve known for years become more and more real and more deeply embedded.

There is freedom from fear or defeat because faith comes to believe and receive His promises.

I believe the glory will outweigh the suffering. (2 Cor. 4:17)

I know that I am His and He is mine. He is the prize, the reward, the inheritance. He is worth it all.

I see His glory and know there is no one like Him.

We glorify Him by living in a way that shows He is our supreme treasure.
